Capalaba Bulldogs are looking for U9-U18 footballers with a passion for football and a hunger for excellence to be part of our 2026 Academy teams. Capalaba FC will be filling FQA Girls teams in U9 - U17, and boys teams in U9 - U18 age groups in 2026.
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗙𝗖 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆:
The academy is built on the Game Cycle Philosophy of holistic player development. Under the guidance of our highly qualified and experienced coaching staff, players will benefit from:
· A professional and disciplined training culture.
· A curriculum focused on advanced technical skills and game understanding.
· Physical conditioning programs tailored to each age group.
· A focus on sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.
𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲:
· Juniors Academy (Ages 9-12): Building a strong foundation and a love for the game.
· Youth Academy (Ages 13-16): Intensive development and competitive preparation.
· Senior Academy (Ages 17-18): Bridging the gap to senior QPL & NPL football.

TRIALS FOR FOUNDATION ACADEMY 2026 (U9s - U12s)
Capalaba Bulldogs will be kicking off their foundation (ie U9-U12 age groups) academy trials early October for both boys and girls. These trial sessions are only open to players who have submitted their EOI.
𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗢𝗜!
The club’s Technical Directors and Team Coaching Staff will initially screen the player expression of interests and contact players directly with confirmation of Player Identification dates.
If selected, an initial NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be required by the last scheduled Talent ID / Trial date. NPL Junior program positions will be forfeited and offered to another identified player if a commitment is not made by this date.

Capalaba FC's Expectations of Players:
Players must be prepared to work within a flexible coaching framework
Players will be required for 3 contact training sessions a week
Games are scheduled weekly and a minimum of 90% attendance is required over the season
All teams will work to a set Periodisation (Training Plan) based on 6 week blocks
Pre-season training commitments begin in December
Liaise with specialist coaching staff (e.g. S&C coach, GK coach, etc.) as and when required
2 x Player / Parent Interviews to review player performance. Held twice per season.
