PINK WEEKEND 2026
This Pink weekend, we’re doing something a little different.
This year, our Pink Weekend jerseys will tell a deeper story.
Instead of wearing pink alone, our jerseys will carry the names of people whose lives have been touched by cancer. These names will be printed in small type across the fabric, representing those we have lost, those currently fighting, and those who have survived.
Each name is a tribute. Together, they form a powerful reminder of why Pink Weekend matters and who we play for.
If you would like to include a name, you can submit it via the form on this page. This may be the name of someone who has passed away due to cancer, someone currently battling cancer, someone who has survived cancer, or your own name if this is your story.
You may also choose to share a short story, memory, or message. This is completely optional, and you only need to share what you feel comfortable with.
With your permission, some stories may be shared on Capalaba Football Club’s social media channels during Pink Day to help honour these journeys and raise awareness. If you would prefer your story to remain private, you can indicate this in the form.
Thank you for trusting us with these names and stories. We are proud to wear them.
