Miniroos Football - U6 to U12
Capalaba FC offer the following programs for Miniroos, age groups 4-12 years:
Kick Off - Introductory game-based program for 4-9 years old
Club Football - Team based small-sided games for 5-12 years old
Under 6 & Under 7 compete in-house
Under 6 & Under 7 Moreton Bay Boys College (MBBC) compete inhouse
Under 8, 9, 10 and 11 will travel to other clubs
Under 8, 9, 10 and 11 (MBBC) will play & train at school
All games are played on Saturdays either home or away
U6-8 only - if you have a preference as to which team your child joins (e.g. your child was in a team last year and wishes to stay together and move up an age group) please email miniroos@capalababulldogs.com with your child’s name, age group in 2023 and your preferred coach’s name before 10th February 2024. We will endeavour to accommodate preferences, but we cannot guarantee them.
Fees
U6 & U7 — $300.00
U8 – U12 — $500.00
2024 playing fees include all weekly match fees.
Playing shirts are provided for match days and remain the property of the club, however you will need to purchase the following:

Shin Pads
The following merchandise is optional:

Club Tracksuit (May onwards)

Friend Request Form (FRF)

In line with our community club aspect we do realise that playing with your friends is what makes team sport in most cases. Therefore, we have created a Friend Request Form (FRF). In general, we attempt to fulfil FRF for all players that are registered and paid by the advertised deadline.
Please remember we ask:
- that parents have spoken to the parents of players in FRF forms to ensure both players have listed each other - parents understand that to be able to fulfil FRF that we may need to move a/the players out of his or her existing team into a new team. We do not move players not listed in a FRF out of their existing teams to accommodate other players’ FRFs.
Under 6/7 age group your competition is ungraded therefore we usually have a much higher success rate.

Bluecards - How to Register

Once you have registered or if you already hold a current Bluecard please email president@capalababulldogs.com along with:
either the Account Number you were sent from Bluecard along with your date of birth
or your current Bluecard Number along with your date of birth

Gear and Equipment
Your Miniroos player will need shin pads (slip in ones are often more comfortable for very little legs than shin pads with straps or sleeves), a pair of football boots, a water bottle and a ball to practice at home (U6 to U9 size 3 ball; U10 size 4 ball).
You will need to purchase club shorts and socks from the Kennel or our online shop (our uniform shop).
Shin pads, football boots and water bottle must come to every training session and game—otherwise, for health and safety reasons, your child won’t be able to participate.
