MiniRoos Muster Day – Parent FAQs

Who is MiniRoos for?

The MiniRoos program is designed for boys and girls from Under 5s (turning 5 in 2026) through to Under 12s. It caters for both beginners and experienced players in a fun, development-focused environment.

Is Muster Day compulsory?

Yes. Muster Day is important for team formation, grading (where applicable), and confirming player numbers. We strongly encourage all players to attend to help ensure balanced teams for the season. If you are a Coach from 2025 and your team is looking to stay together in 2026, please let Emily know at miniroos@capalababulldogs.com

What happens on Muster Day?

Players will take part in light football activities and small-sided games, which help the club finalise team formations for the upcoming season. Parents will have the opportunity to meet other families, connect with coaches, speak with club officials, and ask any questions about the season ahead. The session is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and enjoyable for all participants, with coaches for the season also being nominated and confirmed, supported by the club.

What should my child bring?

Please bring football boots (or runners), shin pads, a water bottle, and sunscreen.

When does the season start and how long does it run?

The MiniRoos season is scheduled to commence on Saturday 2 May 2026 and will run in line with the Football Queensland community football calendar.

Do I need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)?

Yes. Submitting an EOI is required for all players and helps the club plan team numbers, coaching allocations, and field usage ahead of the season.

Who can I contact if I have questions?

For any queries before Muster Day, please email Emily at miniroos@capalababulldogs.com or alternatively please contact the club via our website or social media channels and a committee member will be happy to assist.
