Katy Couperus is a Coup of a signing!

Capalaba FC is very proud to announce one of our marquee signings, as Katy Couperus joins our NPLW Squad from the USA. Katy has previously played for the Cincinnati Bearcats and has only been in the country a couple of weeks.

Already she has settled in with the rest of the squad and impresses at every training session. She is a player who has a great work ethic & commitment, is composed on the ball & also has an abundance of technical ability. Katy will have a big part to play in the NPLW this season, definitely a player to watch!

Coach Dan Baker said 'She is a versatile player that can play almost anywhere on the pitch and it is clear that she has a strong footballing background. Her quality is not only raising the standard of football across our squad but across the whole competition in general'

Katy opened her scoring account on debut last week against the Brisbane Roar. We can’t wait to see what else she brings to the squad this season!
