Tina Good (Director)

Tina is a Psychotherapist/Counsellor, with a Bachelor of Integrative Psychotherapy. She is registered with both PACFA & ACA.

 

Tina’s empathic approach & genuine concern for others enables her to provide a less 'clinical' feel for therapy in a welcoming environment. She develops a strong alliance with clients, using her friendly and non-judgemental approach to create a safe space for clients to relax and explore their concerns. This collaborative approach empowers her clients to discover practical strategies and achieve lasting change in their lives.

 

Tina has worked in the trauma and bereavement support field for over 10yrs, providing a wide range of individual and group interventions. Her speciality is integrated psychotherapy within a strengths-based approach. With over 20yrs experience & training, Tina has developed a proficient and comprehensive understanding to bring about profound changes in health and wellbeing. She is also highly experienced in supporting elite athletes to perform at their best.

 

Tina has worked with various community and Government organisations in both NSW & QLD, and currently partners with organisations such as 1800RESPECT (DV hotline) and StandBy Support After Suicide, she has extensive experience working with clients of all ages and all presentation types.

 

Tina states, “I look forward to partnering with Capalaba FC to build a robust Wellness Program for all players, coaches, volunteers, and the wider community. I will be available at the Capalaba FC Club House on Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm, please come and say hello”.

High Performance Unit

Nicola Carlish

Capalaba Football Club are very excited to introduce Nicola Carlish as the Head of our High Performance Unit (HPU).

Nicola is going to be an asset to our club and has already started to make great improvements across the board for the 2024 season. Nicola is an Exercise Physiologist and is additionally qualified as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and as a Sports Trainer.

The Head of HPU Role within our club is to provide performance support for each player from academy through to senior squads. Our aim is to help each player be better prepared both physically and mentally to perform at their highest standard on the pitch.
