PS4 National Premier League Womens

Female Players wishing to be considered for PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Squads will be asked to register their details below. The club’s NPLW Technical Director and Team Coaching Staff will initially screen the player expression of interests and contact players directly with confirmation of Player Identification dates.

PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues

  • PS4NPL Under 13 Girls (Players Born in 2005 – 2006) Skill Acquisition Phase
  • PS4NPL Under 15 Girls (Players Born in 2003 – 2004) Game Training Phase
  • PS4NPL Under 17 Girls (Players Born in 2001 – 2002) Game Training Phase
  • PS4NPL Senior Women (Players Born 2000 onwards) Performance Phase

Senior Women will be invited to attend towards the end of October, dates to be finalised shortly.

Capalaba FC's Expectations of NPLW Players:

  • Players must be prepared to work within a flexible coaching framework
  • Players will be required for 3 contact training sessions a week
  • Identified players will work on a familiaisation program of 1 (one) training session a week leading up to December
  • Pre-season training commitments commence from the 2nd  week of January (8th January 2018)
  • Games are scheduled weekly
  • Attendance for the player and at least one parent (If the player is Under 18 years of age) to a mandatory Induction Session – scheduled for Early February.
  • Some travel to Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Sunshine Coast for games will be required
  • All teams will work to a set Periodisation (Training Plan) based on 6 week blocks
  • 2 x Player / Parent Interviews to review player performance.(End May and End August 2018)
  • To liaise with specialist coaching staff (ie: Conditioning Coach, Club Physio, Goalkeeping Coach) regarding player performance or to enlist their services within team training sessions when required.

The program includes:

  • Qualified Accredited Coaching Staff
  • Support Personnel – Sports Trainer/ Physio attendance at all home games
  • 3 night per week of training
  • 10 month season of friendly, pre-season and fixture matches
  • Playing uniform
  • All game day match fees and coaching fees
  • Player assessments
  • FFA/FA registration
  • Player insurance

If selected, an initial NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be required by the last scheduled Talent ID / Trial date. PS4NPL Program positions will be forfeited and offered to another identified player if a commitment is not made by this date.

Komodo Trials

Capalaba FC has a growing number of players in the Komodo Dragon development level of the Football Brisbane Mini Roos program. During October 2017, we will be trialling players for selection in our Komodo Dragon teams. The trial dates are provided below.

Komodo Dragons is a more advanced league in which Football Brisbane requests clubs to select players of a higher ability to compete against each other.
 
Players not wishing to trial or who miss selection at the Komodo level will be selected in the Goanna and Gecko teams.
 
The club Technical Director will be in charge of selecting the Komodo teams, with the support of the Komodo Coaches.

Capalaba FC Junior Presentation Day - 16th September 2017

Capalaba FC will be conducting it's Annual Junior Presentation Day on Saturday 16th September 2017 at the Club.

2017 has been a very busy year for all members, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members, players, family & friends for your support throughout the year.

There will be fun activities to join in on throughout the day, including inflatable soccer field, face-painting, pie-in-the-coaches-face and much more.

Team photos will also be distributed during your presentation.


The presentation part of the day has been broken into 30 mins slots and are as follows:-

Pink Weekend!

Pink Weekend will begin on the 11th August and run through until Sunday 13th August. The event will take place at John Frederick Park, Capalaba.

This is Capalaba FC's Annual fundraiser, where all monies raised are donated to Cancer Foundations. Last year we raised $14 thousand dollars and we are keen to raise more this year.

All home games are listed below.

The event will include special attendances by current Roar players, activities, Gift Race, jumping castles, bakery stalls and much more!

Breathe Easy for Ben! Trivia Night!

Hi Everyone,

The Club and I (Kelly Crew, BWPL player) are holding a Trivia Night to help raise money to support my brother who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. He has always battled with the disease but lately, it has taken its toll. He now needs a double lung transplant for a chance of a future.


The Trivia Night will be a fun event where we can all get together and have some drinks and support a good cause.


All money raised will go towards house alterations needed for ben post-transplant to reduce the chance of rejection, equipment to aid his recovery and hopefully reduce the stress of financial burden.


We are working hard to make this night special. We would love for you to come along! I will be posting soon with more information.


We will be selling tables of 10 for $100 (so $10 each person), with payment being made at the door. There will be other challenges, & raffles throughout the night. So grab your teammates and get ready for a fun night! The Bar will be open & a BBQ will be happening!
