Bulldogs Clean sweep local derby
A great afternoon was had at the club last Saturday when Capalaba hosted the local derby between the Capalaba Bulldogs and the Redlands Devils, the traditional rivalry continued again as expected and all three games were hard fought affairs.
The Redlands 1st team nearly spoilt the party when they came out and played attacking football, leading the game until the last 10 minutes. Subscribe to 'The Kennel' for a full match report via email.

Youth Game
After a lot of talk around the traps regarding this game. It finally took place and Capalaba played well
and took their chances. This helps them maintain the pressure on the top side JPC, who I believe lost
on the weekend. The final scoreline read Capalaba 3, Redlands 0
Reserves Game
Following on from last weeks performance against Albany Creek. The reserves again played well and took their
chances also. The reserve grade is the hardest team to coach, as the personnel changes weekly. Well done boys and keep up the good work. The final scoreline read Capalaba 3, Redlands 0
First grade
To be fair in a Game where a ten man Redlands team probably dominated for 75 mins, it just shows you that you
must play for 90 mins. Even though 1 nil down with ten to go, Capalaba still tried to play football, and it is a
pleasing sight knowing that you have not played well but still come away with the 3 points. The final scoreline read Capalaba 2, Redlands 1

Grassroots Coaching
There is a Grassroots coaching course
being held at Capalaba Football club, date: 7th May 2008 at 7pm interested prospective and current coaches
must register at the club by 1 May.
This is a free course for Capalaba members, the club will cover all costs.

Friday Night Social Six-a-Side Football
Friday night social six-a-side football returns to Capalaba for Over 18's.
Competition started on Friday 4th April. New sign on's are most welcome.
